The transition of the transition (in playlist)

The reshuffle, the return of the Covid; coughed coughed with Dojo cat, FKA Twigs, Seven Binks, Makoto San, and Cassia.

Woman – Cat Dojo

Hey, it might not be “the” hit of the summer, but it should be one of the hits hitting the beach bars. Hetero revenge of a summery tropical marketing whose final pinch of guitars makes the whole more than digestible.

Fuji–Makoto San

A bamboo instrumentarium melted into electronic machines is perhaps the best we found this summer to make the climate bill suffer. Note the giant globe masks, between Dada and the Residents.

Hermano – Seven Binks (feat. Koba laD and Morad)

Sorry, but we can’t get out of this slightly weird, but frankly attached French rap vibe (the problem no doubt results in the ballot box). It’s still a well done song, especially thanks to Morad’s intro which immediately pushes the level.

Killer – FKA twigs

A small dose of trendy well thinking of the passage of summer. The prolific starlet offers herself the service of El Guincho, one of Rosalía’s collaborators and it almost gives Madonna 2022. That being said and as the text introduces, it’s still dangerous to be a girl in love this summer .

16-18 (why do you lack energy?) – Cassia

A curiosity to finish this playlist and start the summer in version 21e century, with many ups and downs; this convoluted thing that allows you to walk alone in its remote and gradually gripping electronic impulse. Between two worlds, between rout and light. A bit of the air of our time.
