The immersive exhibition “From Monet to Kandinsky” extended until October 10 at the Palais des Congrès in Liège

Given its success, the immersive exhibition “From Monet to Kandinsky” is extended until Sunday 10 October.

Presented for the first time in Europe and after having marked more than 25,000 visitors in just three months, the exhibition will go under different skies, to the United States.

The exhibition received excellent word of mouth, as evidenced by the many positive reactions on social media. After a rather slow start following the catastrophic bad weather in July, the exhibition has been a growing success, delighting many people from Liège seduced by the quality of the show and the activities offered.

The immersive show in the Black Box, which presents the animated works of ten Great Masters of painting for fifty minutes, allows visitors to enter the world of these great painters, to see their works come to life on giant 360 screens. degrees, to discover fascinating imaginaries, and in the end, to give the desire to discover the original paintings in the museums where they are exhibited …

The visit is usefully completed by the discovery of the Introductory Gallery presenting the biographies of the ten painters and the general context that led to the revolution towards Impressionism and a multitude of new artistic currents, and continues pleasantly with the experience of reality virtual allowing you to immerse yourself in the middle of Monet’s garden in Giverny, and by the invitation to take a picture of yourself as part of a work of your choice.

Note that additional slots have been opened on weekdays in the morning, at 9 am and 9:30 am, for school visits (reservation: Jordan Sauvage, … It is true that children are sensitive to colors, to animated objects in paintings, in music, and that it is for them a beautiful initiation into the world of painting.
